NO APARTMENTS AVAILABLE

RENT RATHER THAN BUY YOUR APARTMENT

Unlike most retirement communities at Danny you have the advantage of being able to rent rather than buy your apartment. This frees up your equity and relieves you of the burden and inflexibility of ownership. We provide the personal touch of pastoral care: help receiving deliveries; co-ordinating the arrival of your guests; arranging transport and shopping; organising cultural trips; and taking messages when you are away.

There are both large and small apartments, and your monthly charge will therefore depend upon how much space you need. All apartments have a modern en-suite bathroom, well equipped cupboards, television aerial-points, and internal and external telephones. There is also a utility-space, with a sink, and a refrigerator, where you may prepare simple snacks. Some apartments have their own kitchens.

Council-tax is included in your monthly rental, as are heating, lighting and water, the use of the library and of the laundry-room, and, indeed, access to all parts of the estate. There is parking for your car.

FULL MAINTENANCE WITH NO EXTRA CHARGES

Your apartment includes full maintenance with no additional service-charges.

There are guest-rooms for the use of residents' friends and relations. A charge is made for this, and for any extra meals, which appears on your monthly account.

What next? The first thing is probably to come and have a look around. There are no other formalities, except that we do need to know that you are capable of looking after yourself, as there are no facilities for providing nursing care. When an apartment becomes free, you will then be asked for a returnable deposit of six months' rental.
