Apartment
15 is one of our finest two-room apartments. It is
situated on the first floor in the centre of the
house, with the lift just outside the front door.
The sitting-room offers a view of the Walled
Garden, while the bedroom window looks across the
fields towards the village of Hurstpierpoint.
To live at Danny is to be able to forget about the
chores of everyday life. Breakfast, lunch and
supper are included in the monthly rental, and two
experienced cooks provide varied and interesting
menus. Cleaning, heating, lighting and maintenance
are also included, with a staff of eight providing
a high level of service, and residents can enjoy
the gardens and an estate of 150 acres.
It is a unique and civilised way of life, shared by
about twenty-five retired people. The Great Hall,
built in about 1586, is our drawing-room, and we
take our meals together in the Dining-Room. There
is a varied programme of activities in which you
may choose to become engaged, and we have a weekly
film. It is essentially a homely atmosphere.

The overall area of the apartment is 49 sq m (510
sq ft).
The all-inclusive monthly rental is £2,400
(single occupancy), £2,600 (double), and
before occupation a refundable deposit of six
months' rent is
required.
